So the 'party of business' is not a party of business after all. It is the party of "working people" and will grant them 'the right to buy'[1]. By contrast the labour party (small 'l' intentional) is no more a party of 'workers' and proclaims to be the party of business and 'keep corporation tax the lowest in the G7'[2]. Leaving aside the semantic differences in 'working people' and 'working classes' we seemed to have entered into the world where everything is possible. Finally we can give away and keep it, eat our cake and have it and the goose with the golden eggs must have arrived in the Treasury.

Manifesto 2015 is really all about levelling the UK playing field by helping the less well off by raising the income tax level to £12,500 pa, the NHS gets £8bn pa more by 2020 and education funding from nursery to FE college is safeguarded. Wasteful nuclear weapons submarines will be decreased and indefinite immigration detention ended. Our 5 Green Laws will continue our work to preserve the countryside and increase the use of renewable energy ,leaving fossil fuels where they belong(in the ground).
