Katy Brookes-Duncan is your LOCAL Lib Dem candidate, living and working in Shepshed

Katy has a strong record of serving the Shepshed community through leadership, youth work, and community development. As Chair of Trustees for Passion Youth Hub, she works closely with local young people, helping to provide opportunities and support. 
As Community Development Worker at Christ Church Methodist Church, she established a free weekly lunch club that brings people together, reduces isolation, and strengthens community connections. 
Through these roles, Katy is actively involved in community across the town, giving her a broad understanding of local issues and priorities. She played a key role in the campaign to save Jubilee Walk, using her knowledge of planning legislation to help secure its designation as a community asset
