Blackburn with Darwen Council is about to consult on new dog control orders. The Council should be pub,lishing these officially in the next few weeks and you have 28 days to comment on them before a final decision is made by the Council's Executive Board. There will be 3 types of order.
Cllr Liz Cohen was joined by Brentwood First's Cllr Phil Baker in Oliver Road today for an update on the works that have been taken place during the summer holidays. Liz said: "The school reopens on Tuesday and the cable works will be finished outside the school by then. Oliver Road should be completed by the middle of next week. "However, gas works are now also taking place in Oliver Road and this is affecting the footpath opposite the school only. This is scheduled to be completed by Thursday 5th September although, obviously all dates are subject to change. She also warned: "Please leave more time in travelling to and from school due to the on going Electrical Cable works currently on the Shenfield Road."
The Welsh Liberal Democrats will be at Cardiff Mardi Gras at the Millennium Stadium this Saturday 31st August.
The additional information that was requested by Rugby Borough Council and other statutory consultees following the initial submission of the planning application has now been received.
