Every Vote for the Lib Dems Counts - Ignore the Oakeshott Letter

You may have received a letter from Matthew Oakeshott using his former position with the Liberal Democrats asking for you to vote tactically. This is a desperate measure by the Labour party to try and confuse you. The use of yellow paper and the Liberal Democrat title in the heading is a deliberate attempt to appear to be an official Lib Dem communication.

And this is not the only conundrum of this election. The Tories are not any more the 'party of business' as they have been proclaiming for centuries. They are now the party of "working people". By contrast the Labour party is no more a party of 'workers' and proclaims to be the party of business and 'keep corporation tax the lowest in the G7 countries'. So Labour is now both, pro-workers and pro-business. Conservatives, to be different, are pro-business and pro-workers. And in this election both parties promise everything to everybody. This is not like an election, this is like Christmas: 8 billion for NHS, outlawing tax increases, free TV licences, starter homes, right to buy, free child care, increased paternity leave, free home insulation … But unlike Christmas, this is a true miracle. Because all that promised expenditure will be delivered by reducing budget deficit, eliminating public debt. Or is it reducing debt and eliminating budget deficit?
