The sheer quantity of raw sewage being dumped into Britain’s rivers and coastal areas is a scandal and a disgrace.
After hearing many rumblings over the last few months of the proposal to change Tram Road from a one way system into a two way road I heard from several local residents that there was to be an exhibition to showcase the changes. A few local residents had also received letters explaining this, and there was a small article (although publishing the wrong opening times!) appeared in the Folkestone Herald.
Deputy Prime Minister and Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg today [Thursday] gave a speech on supporting working families. He said:

Commenting on Chairman of the BBC Trust, Lord Patten's speech at the Oxford Media Convention, Co-Chair of the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Party Committee on Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, Don Foster said:
(From the BBC) Nick Clegg is pushing the coalition government to go "further and faster" in raising the pay level at which people start paying income tax to £10,000 a year.
