The sheer quantity of raw sewage being dumped into Britain’s rivers and coastal areas is a scandal and a disgrace.
Cllr David Kendall and the Liberal Democrat group were unable to support the budget consultation being run by Conservative controlled Brentwood Borough Council saying it was "flawed" during a heated meeting of the Policy Board last week.
Bedford Borough Council is embarking upon a new campaign to rid the town of litter, graffiti, fly-tipping, and dog fouling on pavements and open spaces. The campaign will emphasise the cost to the taxpayer and also the detrimental effect upon communities.

Three of the busiest junctions in the area are on Park Avenue as it meets St Augustine's Road, St Andrew's Road and Pemberley Avenue and they don't yet have dropped kerbs for people who have difficulty with mobility.
