Wirral West parliamentary candidate Peter Reisdorf attended the Council's Wirral West Constituency Committee meeting last Thursday where the Chief Fire Officer gave a presentation about the proposals, but only took questions from Committee members, not the public. He didn't give details of the plan, but subsequently we found out that there appear to be two different plans for the proposal to build a new fire station in Greasby. One plan would involve demolishing the community centre and incorporating a community centre in the new building, the other would leave the community centre untouched. We hope that full details will be available at the public meetings next week.
