Miswell Lane, Tring, Crossing Eventually Opens After a Month's Delay
Liberal Democrat county councillor, Nick Hollinghurst, after over a year's campaigning and lobbying on behalf of local parents and residents, was delighted when the council's contractors started to mark out the new zebra crossing in Miswell Lane, Tring. It was positioned just where two footpaths, well used as routes to Goldfield School, cross the busy Miswell Lane.

George Smid condemns all Violence but particularly against children
The appalling news from the Mediterranean this week has emphasised yet again how far we still need to go to protect our fellow men and women but particularly children Using violence or torture against a child is inexcusable. We must ensure that the most vulnerable are protected, and Liberal Democrats are committed to ensuring that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) leave no one behind. We want to make sure that the principle of protecting and empowering the most vulnerable in society, including children, remains central to the final SDGs.
