Excessive development is swamping our roads and services and destroying the green spaces vital to the health of the community. We should be developing a green town with sustainable development. Time and time again opportunities have been lost to reinvigorate our high streets and town centres. It shouldn't be necessary to fight to keep libraries and other community facilities open as they should be at the heart of town centre policies. Giving people a voice in the future of Brentwood and Shenfield will be my top priority. They have been ignored for too long.
