Yesterday I visited a prison

I don't know what I expected but it certainly wasn't what I experienced. It was disconcerting to discover at the beginning that I could not tell who were prisoners and who were other visitors or education staff. And so many of them were much younger than I had imagined and as I later learnt on indeterminate sentences - they don't know when they will be released.

Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate Mark Chapman and County Councillor Caroline Nichols are certain that the London Irish plans to move to Hazelwood Golf Centre and redevelop their current site would damage the local area. Caroline said that "This development would be a disaster for Sunbury and nearly every resident I have spoken to has been against it".
