Figures published by West Wiltshire Rail Users Group show a steady increase in the numbers of people using local stations. For example in Trowbridge passenger figures went up from 779,000 in 2012 to 790,000 in 2013. Westbury went from 454,000 to 467,000 and Warminster from 352,000 to 355,000. The introduction of the improved Westbury to Swindon service means figures are likely to increase again in 2014.
