The Liberal Democrats have a problem: the public see the coalition as their surrender. The public has a problem too. Based on the polls, the next government is likely to be a coalition. But the evidence suggests that the British public did not understand the dynamic of the coalition and saw the Coalition as the capitulation of the Liberal Democrats. Once again the ascot fencing at Baldwin Crescent has been damaged. The post is broken, probably due to age and people sitting on it. A request has been sent to MK Council for repair.
We had an active presence at conference and made quite an impact.
