Wiltshire Independent Councillors Terry Chivers, and Jeff and Helen Osborn launched an online petition that was presented to Wiltshire Council on May 12th, to try to save cuts to the RUH Hopper bus service.
Wiltshire Councillors Jeff Osborn (Ind) and Peter Edge (LD), have put a motion to today's council meeting in protest at the axing of funding to two particular voluntary groups, which have done a lot of good work in their communities. It says:
On a quick local survey of just a few of Sandgate's side streets last night, local Lib Dem Gary Fuller found a pothole on every single street. He has since reported the potholes, in Lister Way, Lachlan Way, and Parade Road to Kent Highways and hopes to see them fixed in the next few weeks.
