The DfE also requires a package of support which "must include peer mentoring and support for the Lead Member for Children's Services (and) the Portfolio Holder for Children's Services..." The cabinet member for Children's Services is Conservative councillor Lionel Grundy OBE and the portfolio holder for Children's Services is Conservative Laura Mayes.
