Lib Dems take action on crime and disorder at Sunbury Cross

Cllrs Colin Strong and Ian Beardsmore are supporting residents worried about crime and disorder issue at the Cross. Backed by your local councillors Police are working with the council to see if a DPPO (Designated Public Place Order ) can be established in the area. This would give police discretionary powers to confiscate alcohol or containers of alcohol within the designated area. failure to comply can result in fines of up to £500.

William Hunter Way debacle: Joint press release issued by cross party councillors

Thirteen Brentwood councillors have put political differences aside and joined forces on this important issue as individual members to ensure that Brentwood's residents are not short changed on the proposed William Hunter Way 'cinema' deal. This is also part of a collaborative campaign to persuade the leadership at Brentwood Council to come clean and to begin to walk the walk of openness and transparency in their dealings in order that their actions start to match their rhetoric in this regard.

How welfare cuts will hit Wiltshire
