South Lakes MP Tim Farron was hailed the news that Windermere Steam Boat Museum won planning permission from the Lake District National Park Authority last week as ‘another massive boost for the local economy’.

MP welcomes news that work has started on Steamboat Museum

Clearance work is underway at the Windermere Steamboat Museum site, ahead of the start of construction of the new attraction next year. South Lakes MP Tim Farron has welcomed the news and has said he looking forward to seeing the transformation on the site.
