Voter ID pilots - what's the cost?
Liberal Democrats in Pendle have slammed the secrecy over the cost of the voter ID pilots that are taking place at the Council elections in Pendle this year. They say that added to the problems that are being caused for voters, to refuse to say how much it is costing the public purse is just an insult.

The Liberal Democrats voting record on Gedling Borough Council
The Liberal Democrats voted against an inflation-busting 6% increase in councillor allowances in 2016- arguing that such an increase was not justified. More recently they voted against giving allowances to councillors who act as 'party business managers' -arguing that these allowances are party political in nature and shouldn't be paid for by the council tax payer.

Gedling Liberal Democrats believe that most residents are concerned about how Gedling Council can help improve the local area in which they live. This involves improving basic things such as street cleansing and the upkeep of parks and recreational areas.
