Lib Dem Peers raise the issue of "How to become a Man God wants You to be" booklet?
On Tuesday's debate in the House of Lords on Schools, Lord Rennard asked "whether the government will take steps to prevent the booklet Pure Manhood: How to Become the Man God wants You to Be being read as part of the school curriculum. Three Liberal Democrats Peers, Lord Rennard, Baroness Walmsley and Lord Avebury pressed the government to act including a further specific question asked by Lord Rennard on "what specific actions the government might consider to prevent the distribution in any school of literature that is clearly homophobic, undermines HIV prevention campaigns and is likely to incite further homophobic bullying?

'Managed Motorway' scheme - work underway
The Highways Agency is introducing variable speed limits and other measures on the M5 and M4 around the Almondsbury Interchange. Work began in January and should be completed in 2014.
