Ian West calls for a reduction in the speed limit through Winterbourne Stoke

Councillor Ian West says "It is know over two years since the Highway Agency installed the pedestrian crossing in the village and it has made a big difference for village residents to be able to cross the road in safety, but we still have one major problem that is becoming more frequent as every day passes, motorists are approaching the crossing far too fast and jumping the red lights, frequently you can see skid marks on the road as well, we try to instil into younger residents to make sure that the lights have turned to red and traffic from both directions has stopped before crossing the road".

Hate crime card to help disabled people in Warwickshire

A card has been released which aims to make it easier for people with disabilities to report hate crimes. It has been produced by Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police and the Learning Disability Partnership Board. The "I Want to Report a Hate Crime" card aims to tackle prejudice and crime against someone with a disability. By showing the card, the person is able to communicate that they need help.
