Cheriton and Morehall: Road & Access Schemes
Following on from improvements in Cheriton and Morehall over recent years funded by Local County Councillor Tim Prater's "Member Highways Fund" (MHF), more works are hopefully planned this year. The Members Highway Fund is an amount of money delegated to County Councillors each year to spend on works in their division - currently £25,000 per year.

Farron makes case in House for urgent debate on West Coast Mainline
Cumbrian MP and President of the Liberal Democrats Tim Farron has today stood up in the House of Commons to make his case for an Emergency Debate on the West Coast Main Line franchise. Emergency Debates are usually granted sparingly and for major events like phone hacking.

New system to apply for a bus pass in Essex
From 1 October 2012, residents of the Essex County Council area applying for a bus pass for the first time or looking to replace their lost or broken pass will need to apply to Essex County Council instead of their local District/Borough/City Council. This is because there is now one centralised system for processing applications and replacements.

Community Football Sessions from 12th September
Community football sessions commence from Wednesday 12 September at the brand new 3G astro turf facility at Court Recreation Ground in Epsom. The sessions which cost only £2 are for boys and girls aged 8-15 of any ability and take place on Wednesdays (term time only) from 5pm - 6pm. No booking is required you can just turn up and join in.

Kent Police update August 2012 - Cheriton and Morehall
On Wednesday 1st August 2012 PCSO Mark Ball attended a report of a vehicle obstruction to a residential driveway. The owner of the vehicle, who was the manager of a local works garage apologised and agreed not to park any of his vehicles in this section of the road again in order to avoid any further upset.
