The 'Warmer Beds' Home Insulation Scheme is offering special summer discounted prices for cavity wall and loft insulation, which can help make a real difference to households in cutting heating bills and reducing their impact on the environment. Two thirds of all heat lost from an un-insulated home is through the walls and roof.
Cllr Nigel Hartin, (Clun) Leader of the Lib Dems on Shropshire Council has slammed the Council for its failure to secure funding from Central Government to expand broadband provision in the County.
Lib Dem Leader Cllr David Kendall has called for an emergency full council meeting to be held as soon as possible to discuss what action is going to be taken following the recent decision on the town hall. His call for the council to be recalled instead of having it's normal summer break is unprecedented and highlights the serious concerns the Lib Dems have over the way the whole issue is being handled by the Tories running Brentwood Borough Council.
