The sheer quantity of raw sewage being dumped into Britain’s rivers and coastal areas is a scandal and a disgrace.
Mayor Dave Hodgson is leading Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats' calls for better health facilities for residents. Mayor Dave is calling for a fair deal for Bedford Borough after figures reveal patients per GP have increased by 18% since 2016 in the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes area. I have lived and worked in and around the Clatterbridge ward area for the past 40 years and am seeking election to the council once again after standing for the first time in 2022. In equal importance was acting as an advocate for my patients and helping them to navigate and access health, benefits and community services and I would welcome an opportunity to renew elements of this very rewarding role on behalf of local residents. I have very recently retired from part time work in the Courts & Tribunal Service adjudicating benefits appeals which has kept me in touch with the problems people are experiencing after the Covid pandemic and now facing the energy, inflation and cost of living crisis.
