Mobile roaming charges across the EU are set to be abolished altogether by December 2015 following a vote in the European Parliament's Industry, Research and Energy Committee today. These include costly charges for data roaming, which are currently capped at £376 per gigabyte in the EU.
"Lollipop" crossing patrols are now under review by Conservative-run Essex County Council. They are asking the schools to consider paying for the crossing patrols where a zebra or pelican crossing is in place.
Housing Development. Recently Nick Boles MP, the Planning Minister, has issued some amendments on the planning regulations that have caused a rash of applications across England including the one next to Millfield House in Worthen. Despite some comment in the media they do not really change much apart from putting an extra emphasis on infrastructure such as highways, sewage treatment etc. Let's hope that means these things have happen before any such development starts!
